Good start but lacking when compared to competition
I’ve used Guidance since it came out. I went to Islamic finder to get a print out for prayers and saw that they released a mac app (finally after many many years). I love the menu with the ability to get printable salaah timings and the islamic events calendar and Qibla direction….however...
It’s missing some critical functional things to make this the best App…
- The cities and locations are very limited…with the Islamic Finder Database behind this app it should be better than others
- Changing settings doesn’t save…I’ve had to reset the settings back to what I originally prefer for Juristiction and Calculation Methods.
- The status bar doesn’t show you next prayer times
- It goes buggy if you have multiple monitors (IE: Clicking on menu bar on not primary screen doesn’t pop up the menu)
- Requires me to verify my location when starting the app up again
Overall it’s a good start but it’s missing these five items to make it as comparable to the wonderful Guidance App I currently use.
Really looking forward to seeing this develop but as of now it’s not in competition with its biggest competitor.
